Mariana has just won a trip for two to paradise. She also discovers that she has nobody to share the prize with. She decides to invite Victor, a complete stranger. Together they find out that falling in love does not require idyllic sceneries or perfect situations. Without chemistry, there is no love story.

Al ganar un viaje para dos personas a un paradisíaco lugar, Marina descubre que no tiene con quién compartir su premio, por lo que decide invitar a un completo desconocido a viajar con ella. Juntos descubrirán que para enamorarse no importan los escenarios idílicos ni las situaciones ideales. Si no existe la compatibilidad necesaria para amar, no habrá forma de mirarse a los ojos con amor.

Ernesto Contreras was born in Veracruz, México, in 1969. Following undergraduate studies at the Centro de Estudios en Ciencias de la Comunicación, he attended film school at the Mexico National University, where he specialized in directing. His short films have participated in festivals in Latin America, the United States and Europe. His first feature film, Párpados Azules, has won more than 10 awards in international film festivals, including the Special Jury Prize in Sundance, Special Mention in Miami and Best First Work at the Mexican Academy Awards.
