| Déficit is one day in the life Cristóbal, a twenty-something year old snob high-class guy, a hip-hop fan who studies economics and is the son of a corrupt high rank Mexican politician. Through this character, the film explores a certain stratum of Mexican society and its relationship with other social classes. Under the surface of a party, the story touches upon the loss of innocence and the acceptance that a political status quo is gradually coming to an end in Mexico. Déficit es el recuento de un día en la vida de Cristóbal, un joven burgués y pre- potente de veintitantos años, fanático del hip-hop, que estudia economía y es hijo de un político corrupto de alto nivel. A través de él echaremos un vistazo a cierto estrato de la sociedad mexicana y su relación con otras clases sociales. Bajo la superficie de una fiesta se esconde una historia sobre la pérdida de inocencia, sobre la aceptación de que un sistema político está gradualmente llegando a su fin en México. |
