VLAFF congratulates former shorts film programmer, Mónica Herrera, whose film will be at the Guadalajara Festival.

VLAFF's former shorts film programmer, Mónica Herrera, will be competing at the official selection at the Guadalajara Film Festival with her short film LUCY VS. LOS LIMITES DE LA VOZ.

This is Mónica Herrera's first short film, who last year graduated from screenwriting from the Vancouver Film School. Mónica's film will be competing for the best Mexican short film in the festival, along with other 38 works. Her film was produced with the support of the Mexican Film Institute (IMCINE).

In 2011 Mónica Herrera was in charge of selecting VLAFF's first ever short films competition. In 2010 Mónica worked at VLAFF as the print and traffic coordinator.

Our festival is happy to congratulate Mónica Herrera for participating in the most important film festival Mexico.
