Jose Maria is a construction worker and Rosa is a housekeeper. They are South American immigrants working in Spain and have recently become a couple. A sudden departure results in a vacant home, allowing Jose Maria to spend a few days with Rosa, unconstrained in a mansion where she fantasizes on the quintessential shared life. Jose Maria has a volatile nature and a sudden dispute sparks a hostile physical confrontation, leaving him distraught.
“Some immigrants stories can become like a horror movie, but this time I didn’t want to go that far.” – Sebastián Cordero
