Ever Amado is a hurting and bitter illegal immigrant from El Salvador. He left the country with his wife Flor to escape the brutal civil war, only to find himself alone in a clandestine border hospital as an amputee. In his isolation, the anger and bitterness that have ruled Ever for so long finally begin to weaken. Ultimately, as Ever confronts his physical pain, he discovers a life-changing spiritual revelation.
Ever Amado es un emigrante herido y amargado de El Salvador. Dejo el país con su esposa Flor escapando de la brutal Guerra civil, solamente para encontrarse solo, amputado, en un hospital fronterizo clandestino. En su insolación, el enojo y el desencanto que ha pasado Ever para finalmente despertar. Finalmente, Ever confronta su dolor físico y descubre una revelación espiritual que le cambiará la vida.
Victor Ruano was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador. He studied Graphic Design at the Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado. After finishing the program, he emigrated to Savannah, Georgia, to complete an International Excellency Scholarship awarded by The Savannah College of Art and Design. He completed two master programs, in motion graphics and film and television. His film Ever Amado has been presented and received awards in many film festivals, including the 57th Berlinale. Currently Ruano runs a studio called Santasombra in New York City.
