Inés Braun was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1976. She graduated from the Universidad del Cine as a film director and worked as assistant director on several films. Braun wrote and directed La Ronda, her first feature film. La Ronda was the only Latin American film selected at the Shanghai Film Festival in 2008. The film pulls together an all-star team of Argentinean actors.
