Best of VLAFF April

As part of its ongoing film series entitled The Best of VLAFF, the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival is thrilled to premiere Randall Melnyk’s Infusion Latina on Tuesday April 21st at 8:00pm at the Pacific Cinémathèque. Infusion Latina is the story of Canada’s first and only Latin American choir whose members are all amateur singers and immigrants to Canada. The documentary follows the progress of the choir shortly after its inception and gives the audience a glimpse into the lives of the choir members as they candidly discuss their personal experiences as immigrants to Canada. This is Vancouver local Randall Melnyk’s first feature documentary film and will mark the film’s first public screening. Tickets are $10 general admission and can be purchased at the door or online at www.vlaff.org.
