Join VLAFF at the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival on Wednesday, January 18 for a free screening of the Mexican film, Norteado. Presented in conjunction with PuSh and SFU Woodward's, this is a pre-show screening prior to a performance of the play, Amarillo.

The Vancouver Latin American Film Festival turns 10 in 2012! In anticipation of this momentous occasion we have launched our $10 for 10 Years of VLAFF Campaign.

Paula Cosenza, the Brazilian producer of the film O SAMBA QUE MORA EM MIM, is in Vancouver to have a dialogue with the audience and to talk about Brazilian cinema. The film will screen on Thursday at 5PM at the Pacific Cinémathèque. O SAMBA QUE MORA EM MIM is competing for the Al Jazeera Documentary Award.
